All About CG and CG Club

About CG

CG stands for Computer Graphics but some people denote it as Colored Graphics. CG’s output are all in digital formats, so it only means that softwares like Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, and other powerful editing softwares can produce it. There are several types of CG’s, from plain colors to dynamic colors, soft to solid and especially the 2D CG to 3D CG which is very popular nowadays.

CG Formats

Mostly CG’s output are all in .JPEG, .PNG and .GIF formats.

  • .JPEG = Joint Photographics Experts Group
  • .PNG = Portable Networks Graphics
  • .GIF = Graphics Interchange Format

CG Club Purpose & Aim

The aim of this club is simple, to produce more CG wallpapers and to develop individual’s PhotoShopping skills. Normally, you would have go to school just to learn this stuffs, but the truth is, by just practicing, you can learn stuff’s like this. Learning on your own is not a bad thing to do and asking other people will also be a great help.

The purpose of this club is to provide CG Wallpapers that are requested. All the CG wallpapers that will be produced by this club are all copyrighted by the CG Club Artists and Gendou.com.

CG Club Terms of Use

As explained above CG is known as Computer Graphics means that it is Computer Generated Images. CG doesnt apply only for games, as long as the image is made digitally, it will be considered as CG. Now in this club what does CG imply?

In this club CG is also the same but the fact that were not creating any games or anything, it simply means that the CG im referring is the image were creating. Actually the CG focuses more on CG-S that focuses on line-arts/vectors and colorings. We called it CG since all the images that are made by this club are all original hand made digital line-arts and colors from snapshots. And now bout the CG Wallpaper term, We called it that way since the image in the wallpaper are the CG that the CG-S made. In short, you just added the word “CG” in Wallpaper, since the CG-WS are responsible for making the wallpaper design. This are all the explanation for the term that was used by this club.
